Sewer Line Repair in Yakima, WA
Diagnosis, targeted repairs and replacement of damaged sewer piping. A long-term answer for recurring sewer trouble.
Chapter 01
When clearing the line stops being the answer
A single slow sink is usually a local blockage. When several fixtures back up together, or a main-line clog keeps coming back after it has been cleared, the trouble is often in the buried sewer line itself. Roots or soil on the cable, sewage odor, wet ground along the route and settling above buried piping all point the same way.
Tree roots, corrosion, broken fittings, collapsed pipe and poor slope cause repeat backups. When the problem is structural, another drain cleaning may restore flow temporarily without correcting the damaged line. Older drain and sewer materials, root intrusion and mineral buildup create different problems across the valley, so the line gets looked at before anyone talks about digging.

Repairing the damaged section, or replacing the run
CSR starts by narrowing down where the line has failed, using the symptoms and the access your property gives. Can one broken section be repaired? Often, yes. A single cracked fitting or a collapsed length is a different job from a line that has deteriorated along most of its run, and the two get different plans.
Before any work is approved, you hear the cause and the proposed repair in plain language: where the excavation would go, what new piping goes in, and what permits or inspection the job calls for. Many repairs require excavation to expose the failed pipe, so access to the area matters as much as the pipe does.
Call (509) 480-2536 on a weekday with the service address and what the drains are doing, and CSR will tell you the next opening.
Chapter 03
New pipe, joined to sound material and tested before the trench closes
The project scope may include locating utilities, excavation, new piping, testing, permits and inspection. New piping is installed, joined to sound material and tested before the site is closed.
CSR brings a mini excavator to the job and sets a cleanout riser into the new line, so the next drain cleaning has a clean way in instead of another dig. The work is done by a Washington contractor that is licensed, bonded and insured, WA L&I CSRPLPC781J9.
